Philippines Poverty

Pictured here is a family suffering from the poverty in the Philippines, this picture was taken while visiting Boracay Island in the Philippines September of 2010. Although Boracay Island is the most visited tourist destination in the Philippines, with over a million visitors coming here each year, it is still very common to see families with young children sitting on the beach path of the most famous beach in Asia, hungery and without clean clothes.
